Shagun Direct is a technology platform, not a bank. Gifts are held by Stripe in the couple's own Stripe account until they are paid out.

Protection, layer by layer
Card details go only to Stripe
Guests enter their card into Stripe's secure form. We never receive or store card numbers, CVC codes or expiry dates.
Verified couples
Couples verify their identity and UK bank account directly with Stripe before any gift can be received or paid out.
Payouts only to the couple
Payouts can only go to the couple's own bank account, as verified by Stripe. Our staff cannot withdraw or redirect funds.
Private where it matters
Couples see each guest's name, message and gift, but never their email address or mobile number.
Encrypted and monitored
HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, restricted admin access and monitoring for suspicious activity.
How money moves
Shagun Direct never holds or receives gift funds. Every payment travels through Stripe into the couple's own Stripe account, and from there to their bank.
